چکیده

The Taku Schist, which is located in the north-east Peninsular Malaysia, characterized by its North-South oriented elongated body. It forms part of Indonesian orogenic build-up that was generated via convergence Sibumasu continental unit and Sukhothai Arc. Subsequent petrography analyses metasedimentary rocks sourced from Schist revealed their formation attributable to metamorphism greenschist into amphibolite facies, could be observed near Triassic Cretaceous intrusions Kemahang Granite. evolutionary process linked with interactions occurring between contact regional metamorphisms. resulting chemical classification upon assessment disclosed were made up greywacke shale, grouped quartzose sedimentary provenance, belonged Continental Island Arc (CIA). This information required for tectonic setting discrimination purpose. a reflection episodic contractions underwent wherein they would lead cover along both an accretionary wedge genetically-correlated Bentong-Raub melange different greenschist. Petrography, geochemistry and tectonic setting of the Gharabolagh intrusive mass in North Hashtrud, East Azarbaijan

The plutonic body of Bostanabad-Meyaneh belt formed during the Cenozoic magmatism on the weast Alborz-Azarbaijan zone. The Oligocene plutonic rocks consist of alkaligranite, granodiorite and biotitegranite, intruded into the Eocene volcanic-sedimentary rocks. The predominant textures are granular, graphic and perthite. Geochemical evidence reveals that they are cogenetic and have features typic...

Archaean–Proterozoic transition: geochemistry, provenance and tectonic setting of metasedimentary rocks in central Fennoscandian Shield, Finland

The central part of the Fennoscandian Shield in Finland is composed of the Palaeoproterozoic Svecofennian domain and the Archaean Karelian craton with a Palaeoproterozoic allochthonous and autochthonous cover. A cryptic suture separating these areas and another tentative suture dividing the Svecofennian into central and southern parts have been proposed. The chemical composition of sedimentary ...
